A San Diego based socially conscious private company focused on bringing awareness to environmental causes.

The company was formed when the founders were walking in the downtown Gaslamp area of San Diego early in 2003. While walking around, they discoverd that there is no place in commercial districts to dispense of an empty juice bottle or a soda can. They also noticed that a beautiful city like San Diego, has trash bins that was not only designed poorly, but were old, dirty and unpleasing to the eye. Following a few meetings, they decided to put together a feasibility plan that would include the possibility of incorporating recycling into heavy pedestrian traffic areas. In 2003 was born the Envirobinz concept for the company and Envirobin for its 1st product.

Envirobinz is so involved with this change in human behaviour that they strongly believe that the product will increase recycling trends within "commercial districts" of the United States using their patented product called the EnviroBin.

Their product allows pedestrians to make choices when dispensing trash or recyclables in their respective receptacles. Presently when pedestrians throw recyclables in the trash cans on main business streets, the recyclables go to landfills, which are rapidly being filled. There are federal initiatives that are forcing cities to lower the amounts of trash being generated which in turn is filling landfills exponentially.

EnviroBinz has also gone as far as using artistic staff to identify the uniqueness in each community by incorporating colors, designs and aesthetics of the local business environment. In doing so, EnviroBinz has created an ornamental trash/ recycling bin that beautifies our streets and saves our environment.
